Anyone else really concerned about how Pokémon Go is still putting people in risky situations like James Ronnie Timmons? It's so tragic that this game, which brought joy to so many, was part of the series of events leading to a beloved man's death. I heard he was just trying to catch a ‘mon near South 66th and South Tyler Street at a time when you'd think it might be safe, but I guess you never know. It makes you wonder why someone gentle enough to love Pokémon would become a target. James seemed like such a sweet person, the type of guy who deserved so much more from this world. My heart goes out to Rhonda Stinson, who offered him a home when he needed it most, and to all those who were touched by his kindness at Mount Tahoma High. It’s tough watching a community leader taken away like this, especially with no answers in sight. I hope someone with more information finds the courage to step forward. We need justice for James and some peace of mind for the community that he cherished and took care of. Please keep sharing his story—it might reach the right person who can help bring some closure to this heart-wrenching situation.
