Has anyone else been following the details surrounding Andrew W. Dickson's tragic death? I find the aftermath of this case quite concerning, particularly with how the bail was set for Spellman. It's just baffling to think that a bond was placed at $750,000 when the prosecution asked for $2 million. Considering what happened and that a life was lost, I would've thought the court would prioritize community safety more heavily. I can't help but feel for Andrew's family, knowing that the person charged with his murder might not be held to the highest accountability from the get-go. I understand Spellman had no prior criminal record, but sometimes, the severity of an action should weigh heavier. How does everyone else feel about the judge's decision here? It all feels like a reflection on our justice system and how it handles such volatile situations.
