Just had a thought about the courage and composure Deputy Logan Young must have shown that day. It's so deeply sad to think about the family he left behind, especially during the holidays. Imagine receiving that kind of news right after Christmas. The weight of his loss must have been immense for both his loved ones and the Jessamine County community, who knew him not only as an officer but as a father, husband, and brother. I hope his family found some comfort in the years after, knowing his bravery is still recognized and honored by those who followed in his footsteps. What a true testament to his character.
