I was reading through some old articles and came across the tragic case of Lieutenant Conrad Frank. It's infuriating to think about how justice was never fully served for him. The fact that the shooter got off due to a hung jury must have been devastating for his family and colleagues. His sacrifice in battling the lawlessness of that time is truly commendable. Makes you wonder about the kind of challenges officers faced back then, especially with the illegal liquor trade. It's important that his bravery and dedication don't get lost in history. A reminder of how much these officers risked every day. Does anyone know if there are any memorials or dedicated spaces in Ashland that honor him specifically?
