Does anyone else find it deeply concerning how mental health issues were largely sidestepped in the aftermath of the Standard Gravure shooting? Thinking about Paul Sallee and the other victims, it's so troubling to realize there might have been warning signs that were missed or ignored. I read that Wesbecker had a history of mental illness, which makes me wonder if there were opportunities for intervention that were overlooked. It feels so unjust that Paul's life, along with others, was cut short because these issues weren't addressed adequately. It really highlights the need for better mental health support and how crucial it is to take such signs seriously before it's too late. Thoughts?

I recently came across an old article about the Standard Gravure shooting, and I'm genuinely moved by the story of Paul Sallee. It's hard to imagine the horror that unfolded that day and how it forever changed the lives of so many. Paul was just doing his job, a dedicated maintenance worker at the plant for seven years, and in the blink of an eye, he became one of the victims of such senseless violence. I can't help but think about his family and coworkers who've had to carry the weight of that loss all these years. Not to mention the trauma that the survivors must have endured. It’s no doubt that this was a pivotal moment that brought to light serious discussions on mental health and gun control, but I wonder if Paul's loved ones feel there has been enough change since then. Has anyone here heard directly from families of the victims or the survivors about how they’ve coped with the aftermath? It's crucial we remember the personal stories behind these events and continue advocating for change, so their losses are not in vain.
