Hey everyone, I've been following Michael Sinotte's case and something keeps coming to mind about the discovery of his car. The fact that it was found near the Great Swamp Management Area has me really intrigued. I remember reading that Michael was an experienced hiker and geocacher, meaning he probably knew his way around the woods. Could it be possible he was geocaching in a new or challenging spot and lost track of time or direction? I wonder if there are any specific caches or trails around that area where someone might have seen or even interacted with Michael. Also, the uneaten hamburger in the car makes me think he really didn't plan to be gone long, perhaps thinking it was just a quick stop. It's all so puzzling. I also wonder what role his recent struggle with schizophrenia might've played, especially since he was off his meds. It’s worrying to think about how that situation could have impacted his decision-making out there. Has anyone heard if the search teams had any geocaching experts involved in the investigation? Just my two cents, hoping for answers soon.
