I've been following Dealynn O'Connor's case closely, and I keep thinking about the strength it must have taken her to survive that horrific attack in January. Being kidnapped, stabbed, and then told to jump off a bridge is beyond terrifying, yet she found a way to survive and reach help. It speaks volumes about her courage and will to live. It's just devastating to think that after showing such resilience, her life was tragically cut short months later.
I've been trying to wrap my head around how someone could be targeted so violently twice in such a short time. Was it something she knew or did, or were these just senseless, random acts of violence? My heart goes out to her family and friends who have to deal with not only the grief of losing her but also the complexity of these intertwining cases. Hoping justice is fully served for everyone involved.
