I've been following the tragic case from Elizabethtown, and something that's been on my mind is the role of the people who made those initial 911 calls. I'm genuinely grateful that they acted quickly and got the authorities involved because who knows how much worse things could have gotten otherwise. It must have been terrifying to hear the gunshots that night; my heart goes out to anyone who had to experience that firsthand. Imagining what Nadia Brown went through, being able to escape and reach out for help, is just incredibly intense. It's stories like these that remind you there are always unsung heroes in the most unexpected places. I hope the community can come together to support Subash Ghale's family and all others who were affected. It's times like these we need each other the most. ?
