I was reading up on David Kelm’s case, and something that really stands out to me is the tragedy of his life being taken away in what should’ve been a safe place—his own home. I can't help but feel for his family and friends. It’s incredibly unnerving to think about how vulnerable that setting should never have been, and yet, it was the scene of such a senseless act. It also makes me wonder about the suspect, especially since the police mentioned they think they know who it might be. What might have been the motive, and why hasn't there been an arrest if they have leads? I can't imagine the frustration and pain his loved ones must feel knowing there's someone out there who could bring some closure to this. I hope anyone with information finds it within themselves to speak up and help bring justice for David and his family.
