I've been following the case of Dion Larue Ross Sr., and I can't help but feel for his family—particularly his son, Dion Ross Jr. Losing a parent in such a violent and sudden manner is something no one should have to endure. I was reading about how LMPD is still on the hunt for any leads, and it's frustrating to see no arrests have been made. It’s been nearly two years, and the lack of progress must be agonizing for the family.
What really bothers me is how often these cases seem to lose public attention over time. I hope that by keeping the conversation alive, we can help Dion's family find the justice and closure they deserve. If anyone has even the smallest bit of info, I really urge you to come forward. Maybe we can be a part of making a difference.
Has anyone else here been following Dion Larue Ross Sr.'s case in Louisville? I was reading about it again, and my heart goes out to his family—especially his son and grandchildren. I can't imagine the pain they're going through with no closure after almost two years. It's so frustrating to see another case where the family has to endure such long stretches without answers or justice.
I know the LMPD is pushing for tips, but it makes me wonder what more can be done to support them and the victim's family. Maybe there's a way for the community to rally together to keep awareness up? It's awful to think of them waiting for any news or leads. If anyone around the Louisville area knows of any efforts to help this case or the Ross family, please share. The more eyes and ears we have, the better chance we might have to find some resolution.

It’s been almost two years now, and the lack of closure must weigh heavily on them. I can’t imagine what his son, Dion Jr., and his siblings are going through, especially knowing that the person responsible is still out there. It really emphasizes the importance of community involvement in these cases.
