I can't stop thinking about the role that military service might have played in Jerry's life and how his experiences shaped him as a father and a community member. Serving in Korea must have been such a significant period in his life, and I wonder if it brought any challenges he carried through the years. It’s just so sad to think that after all he went through, his life ended in such a tragic way. Has anyone heard if there's been any discussion about PTSD or other issues playing a part in this heartbreaking situation? My thoughts are with the Paris family—losing a patriarch like Jerry must be incredibly tough, especially when it happens in such a sudden and violent way.
