Did anyone else see the recent update shared by the community council regarding Nick Clay's case? It's so frustrating to see that even with the images released, there's been no progress in identifying the suspects. I genuinely can't understand how something like this happens in broad daylight, and still, we're left with more questions than answers.
The fact that Brandy has to relive that moment, knowing the camera caught it all, must be utterly traumatizing. It's admirable that she's committed to seeking justice despite everything. It’s just unfathomable to imagine what she and Desmond are going through. Nick wasn't just any guy; he was actively making a difference, especially with the kids in Shelby Park. They lost a champion, and it’s heartbreaking to see such a vital case stalling.
If you're local, please keep spreading the word. Even if it feels like just a small gesture, someone somewhere might have a piece of the puzzle without realizing it. We can't let this senseless act stay unsolved. Justice for Nick and peace for his family should be a priority for us all.
Has anyone else seen the surveillance footage that Brandy Clay talked about? I can't even begin to imagine the strength it must take for her to keep watching those images in pursuit of justice for Nick. It must be so incredibly traumatizing to have the last moments of someone you love so deeply captured like that. My thoughts go out to her and Desmond; living in that home, knowing what happened, must be so difficult for them.
I hope the release of those images gives the police the lead they need. It’s unsettling that those responsible are still out there, and the community's safety feels uncertain. If anyone has any tips, even the smallest detail could be the missing piece to bring Nick’s killers to justice. Let’s help Brandy and her family find some peace.
Hi everyone,

I recently heard about the devastating loss of Nicholas Leon Clay in Louisville last year, and it’s weighing on my mind. I can't stop thinking about his little boy, Desmond. Growing up without his dad is such a cruel twist of fate. From what I’ve read, Nick was not only an amazing father but also a fantastic role model to the kids in the Shelby Park community. It's terribly unfair that a child has to grow up with this sadness in his heart. I can't imagine the memories Brandy and Desmond have to hold onto now, especially in a place that must feel so empty without Nick there.

Is there anything the community is doing to support Brandy and Desmond during this time? Like organizing community events or any sort of vigils? I really hope they have a strong support system around them and that Desmond knows how much his dad's kindness and spirit inspired many.

If anyone has any details about where we can reach out to help, or if there’s anything planned to keep Nick’s legacy alive, please let me know. It’s clear he made a difference during his life, and it’s tragic that it had to end this way. Something needs to change so no other family has to experience this kind of pain.
