Hey everyone, I came across something that really stood out to me about the Landon J. Pederson case, and I wanted to share some thoughts. Can you imagine how terrifying it must have been for the children who were present in the home during the shooting? It's hard enough for adults to process such a traumatic event, let alone kids who might not fully understand what happened.
I've been thinking a lot about how support services might come into play for these kids. I hope they're getting the help they need to cope with the fear and confusion they must be feeling. It's just such a heavy burden for young ones to witness something like this, and my heart goes out to them and their families.
If anyone has more information on resources available for children who've experienced trauma similar to this, please share. It'd be good for the community to stay informed on how these little ones can be supported in recovering from this incident.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been following the Landon J. Pederson case closely and can’t stop thinking about those kids who were present during the shooting. I can't imagine the impact witnessing such violence could have on their lives. It's truly disturbing to consider not only the immediate trauma but the long-term effects this might have on them. I hope they’re getting the support and care they need during such a confusing and terrifying time.
Does anyone know if there have been any updates on counseling or resources being offered to them? It's difficult to understand why children find themselves caught up in these situations. My thoughts are with them and with Pederson’s family, who are no doubt dealing with so much right now.
Would appreciate any info if anyone has it.
Take care,

Did anyone else notice the presence of children at the scene? It's absolutely devastating to think about the young lives witnessing something so traumatic. I read in one of the reports that there were several children in the house when this happened. Can you imagine the lifelong impact this might have on them? Those kids are going to need a lot of support and care to process this. It's so important we think about every touchpoint of this tragedy, not just for Landon's family, but for everyone who was there that morning. If anyone knows about resources or organizations in Minneapolis that offer counseling for situations like this, it could be helpful to share them here. We often focus on the victims in these stories, as we should, but we also can't forget the silent victims of the trauma left behind.
