Qingjun Sun, a 56-year-old male acupuncturist, was fatally shot outside his home in East Oakland, California, on the evening of December 11, 2012. The incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. in the 800 block of Hawkins Drive, a relatively new housing development situated in an industrial area near the Oakland Coliseum.
