I was just thinking about how these tragic incidents echo through the community long after they happen. I didn't know Mohamed personally, but I really feel for his friends and family. What keeps me up at night is realizing how unresolved cases like his can affect the sense of safety for everyone around. When I read about his shooting in that parking lot, it struck me how areas we pass by daily can suddenly become sites of tragedy.
