I recently came across a post about Aries Trayvon Hubbard, and I can't stop thinking about his family and friends. I live in a different city, but hearing about young life lost senselessly is always so upsetting. What's even more troubling is how the community around Dinkytown feels unsafe now, especially for the students and locals who frequent the area. Has anyone heard if the nearby businesses are doing anything to improve safety? I imagine the families affected by this tragedy could find some solace in knowing steps are being taken to prevent something like this from happening again. Sending love to all who knew Aries. ?️
I've been following the news about Aries Trayvon Hubbard's murder, and it’s been really tough to come to terms with. It was deeply unsettling to learn that the scene of the shooting, right outside Burrito Loco, is a place many students and residents frequent. It's unimaginable to think how a night out in Dinkytown could end so violently and claim a young life. My thoughts go out to his family and friends who are navigating this unimaginable loss.
What’s particularly jarring is how quickly the graphic video made its rounds on social media. I can't help but wonder about the impact this has on those who knew Aries personally. It seems like such a violation of their privacy and grief. We're so quick to share everything nowadays without considering the emotional toll it takes on people who are already suffering.
While the police have stated there's no ongoing threat, the fact that no one has been apprehended is still concerning. Can we really feel at ease in such an environment? It just makes the call for stronger safety measures around the area that much more urgent. Stay safe out there, everyone.
I've been keeping up with the case of Aries Trayvon Hubbard, and one thing that really stands out to me is the location of the shooting. Burrito Loco on 13th Ave SE is a popular spot, especially with students from the nearby University of Minnesota. It’s so unsettling to think that what should be a fun and lively area turned into the scene of such a tragic event.
It feels strange that the police aren't looking for any additional suspects, given how chaotic it must’ve been with multiple firearms involved. Does anyone know if there were cameras outside or around Burrito Loco that night? You’d think they might have caught more details. I’m hoping they have some solid leads behind the scenes and that justice is served for Aries and his family. Anyone else have theories on what went down or insight into MPD’s statement about no ongoing threat to public safety?
