I’ve been following the Kirk Douglas Lee case, and I just can’t stop thinking about the impact on his family and friends. It’s terrible to imagine what they must be going through without any sense of closure. The community at 38th Street and Chicago Avenue has been through so much over the past few years, and this senseless loss only adds to the pain. We hear about the number of homicides in statistics, but each one is someone’s loved one. Does anyone know if there have been any community efforts or vigils held in his memory? Sometimes, those events can provide a sense of solidarity and hope for healing. My heart truly goes out to everyone touched by this tragedy. Hopefully, some answers and justice come soon. If you know anything, please reach out to the authorities. Stay safe, everyone.
