I can't stop thinking about the impact this must have on Nate Banks' family and the trauma that the female survivor will carry for the rest of her life. The fact that Anthony Mayfield received over 41 years in prison provides some justice, but it feels like there's no real way to truly compensate for such horrific acts. Considering Nate was from Detroit Lakes, I'm wondering how the community there is coping, knowing one of their own had his life cut short in such a violent way. It's terrifying to think how quickly life can change in the blink of an eye. Sending love and strength to all those affected.
