It's truly devastating to read about what happened to Tristan Trice. I can't even begin to imagine what his family and friends must be going through right now. Something has really been weighing on my mind: the fact that this was the second shooting in such a short time frame that night in St. Paul. It seems there was a pattern of violence, and I wonder if they're connected somehow or if it’s just a really awful coincidence. The police must have their hands full trying to figure this out.
Also, I’ve been thinking about how scary it must feel for the community living around Sherburne Avenue and North Mackubin Street. It's unsettling to know this is happening so close to home. I hope the police can get more information from the public. If anyone has any details, no matter how small, it might make a difference in cracking this case. St. Paul deserves to feel safe again, and getting justice for Tristan is a crucial step towards that. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.

There was never a case to crack. I gave the police the full story the night I was arrested. As much as this night still haunts me, justice is the fact that he'll never hurt me or my kids again.
Has anyone else noticed the uptick in violence in St. Paul recently? It seems like every other day there's a new incident making headlines. I was reading about the tragic case of Tristan Trice—my heart goes out to his loved ones. It's so unnerving to think that this happened in a seemingly quiet neighborhood.
What really strikes me is the involvement of a 28-year-old woman. It makes me wonder about their relationship and what led to such a devastating outcome. Did they know each other? Was this a random act or something more personal? It’s terrifying to think about how quickly situations can escalate.
I really hope the St. Paul Police get to the bottom of this soon. It's so important for the community to feel safe, and for Tristan’s family to get the answers they need. If anyone knows anything, now’s the time to speak up and help the authorities piece things together. Violence like this affects everyone, not just those directly involved. The whole community pays the price.

Hi, 28 year old woman involved here. This case was never updated and I'm not sure why. Most of the details about this case were incomplete or completely false due to how desperate news outlets were to be the first to report. He was not found OR shot in my car, he was accidentally shot while attacking me. This man was mentally, financially, verbally, and sexually abusive. As far as his family, they knew, and brushed it under the rug. He not only molested, and abused my children while I was at work but also molested his own disabled family member, and attempted it with my older step children. You should know, although he tried to kill me, and this wasn't the first time, I tried to save his life and called police immediately. No, I was never charged with anything, yet nothing has been updated. ❤️
Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Tristan Trice's tragic death in St. Paul, and I can't stop thinking about the impact on his loved ones. Losing someone so suddenly and violently must be incredibly difficult for his family and friends. I read that he was in a car when it happened, and I wonder if this means he was specifically targeted. It's haunting to think about how quickly things can escalate into violence.
Also, there seems to be a lot happening in St. Paul lately with this being one of three shootings that night. It must be terrifying for residents to feel this level of unrest in their community. I'm hoping the police are able to get more information from witnesses or through forensic evidence to bring clarity to what happened.
Does anyone know if there’s been any progress in the investigation or if there are efforts to address this surge in violence in St. Paul? Sending thoughts and strength to Tristan's family and anyone else affected by this tragedy. It’s crucial we keep talking about these incidents to push for change and support the victims' families.

I'd like to know why it wasn't updated as well because I was never charged with anything. Never asked for a lawyer. Btw, Tristan was far from an innocent victim. He did not die in my car, nor was he shot in my car. He died trying to kill me. He had an open cps case at the time for abusing myself and my kids. His family knew about it and did nothing. There was no happy ending to this case. After his death, cps turned on me calling me a violent murderer. An unfit mother. I was too depressed, still in shock, traumatized. Unable to cooperate with all their demands considering I also lost everything I owned, and my kids were taken. They were adopted by a relative and we are all still in therapy ❤️
