I keep thinking about David Ingram's family, especially his girlfriend who was there when everything went down. I can't imagine the trauma she must have gone through, witnessing such a tragic event right next to her. I wonder what kind of mental and emotional support she's getting. Does anyone know if there were any local resources offered to her? I hope she has people she can lean on during this tough time. It's so important to have a support network to help process such horrible events. She's undoubtedly a victim here in her own right, having lost someone so close to her. If anyone has information on how she's doing now or the support she's received, please share. It's a facet of these cases that often gets overshadowed by the trial and the perpetrator, but these stories affect many lives.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the role Ingram’s girlfriend played in this tragic event. It must be incredibly difficult for her, being there and witnessing everything firsthand. I can't imagine the trauma and the weight she carries knowing she was there during David's last moments. There's no doubt that she must also be grappling with feelings of guilt or "what ifs." Being connected so closely to such a horrifying situation can leave scars that don't show on the outside.
I wonder if there’s been any support or counseling offered to her? It's something we don't talk about enough – the aftermath faced by those who didn’t lose their lives but still lost so much. Has anyone read anything more about her or how she's been coping since this all unfolded? Sending thoughts of strength and healing her way.
