I've been following the case involving Socorro Olivas and Javier Ambriz, and one aspect that puzzles me is the lack of surveillance footage from that stretch of I-70. Usually, there are traffic cameras alongside major highways, especially in a busy area like Kansas City. Was there something wrong with the cameras that day, or do they just not cover that part of the interstate? It makes me wonder if there might’ve been some technical issue or if investigators have footage but haven't released it to the public for some reason.
It’s incredibly frustrating for the families to still have so many unanswered questions almost seven years later. If there were technical issues with the cameras, I hope they've been resolved to prevent this from happening in future cases. It's just baffling how suspects can remain unidentified for so long in a case that happened on such a public roadway.
