Just saw the news about Adrian Sianez's tragic death in Gage Park and couldn't stop thinking about how senseless this violence is. It's devastating to see another young life lost to gun violence—24 is just too young. I read that he was shot around 3:40 a.m., which makes me wonder how many more families in Chicago have to suffer like this before something changes. My heart goes out to his family; I can’t even imagine the pain they’re going through right now. Does anyone know if there's been any progress in addressing the gang problems in this area? It just feels like a never-ending cycle, but I hope this tragedy can lead to a push for more effective solutions.
