I’ve been following the tragic case of Ernest Moore Sr., and my thoughts are with his family during this incredibly difficult time. The part that really gets to me is the sheer number of bullets that were fired—more than a dozen! It’s terrifying to think about how many people were put in harm’s way during what should have been a joyful Christmas celebration. This senseless act left not only one person dead but also injured another family member. It makes you question how something like this could happen in a neighborhood where people should feel safe in their own homes. My heart goes out to Ernest Jr. and his family. I hope they find some answers soon. It's just so hard to understand why this happened, and I really hope the police get some leads so they can bring whoever did this to justice. Does anyone know if the community is coming together to support the Moore family during this time?

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the shooting that claimed the life of Ernest Moore Sr. on Christmas Day in 2017. I can’t even begin to imagine the fear and confusion that must have taken over the family as bullets started flying during what should have been a peaceful holiday gathering. They were in the middle of celebrating and making memories, not expecting such a tragedy to unfold right at their doorstep. One aspect that really gets to me is how the family home was pierced with more than a dozen bullets. I keep wondering, what does it say about the nature of the attack? Was the gunman recklessly spraying bullets, or was there some kind of dark purpose behind it? It breaks my heart to think of the children and other relatives who were probably laughing and exchanging gifts moments before their lives changed forever. The lack of information from the police is incredibly concerning. With so much gunfire, you’d think there might be some witnesses or evidence to help lead to the perpetrator. It’s frustrating, knowing the family is left with so many unanswered questions. They deserve justice and closure. I hope anyone with information finds the courage to come forward. Sending love and strength to the Moore family; they deserve peace. ❤️

I'm really struggling to understand how something this senseless could happen, especially on what should've been a joyful day. What's been catching my attention is the fact that it happened during a family gathering. It just makes me think about how vulnerable we all are, even in the places where we feel the safest. I've read that more than a dozen bullets hit the house—can you imagine the terror they must have felt, just an ordinary Christmas celebration turned into something you only hear about on the news? I can't help but think about the lingering impact on the Moore family, especially for Ernest Jr., who not only had to experience this firsthand but now has to live with that haunting memory and the responsibility of helping his family heal. Why are there no suspects yet? It seems baffling that there hasn't been any progress. I hope the police can find something to lead them to the truth soon. My heart really goes out to them.
