I can't stop thinking about the 14-year-old boy caught up in this horrible situation. It's just so difficult to comprehend how a child ended up involved in such a violent event. I hope he's surrounded by support and love as he recovers physically and emotionally from the trauma. It's hard to imagine how his family must feel, having nearly lost him and now dealing with the aftermath of this incident. I also hope the authorities are providing resources to help him and his family navigate through this challenging time. My thoughts go out to everyone affected by this tragedy, including Shay Prewitt's loved ones. This has ripple effects far beyond what any news report can capture.
