It's baffling and saddening to learn that Jerome Edwin Turner's passing is recorded by the National Gun Violence Memorial, yet there's no clear connection to a criminal investigation or any public acknowledgment of foul play. My heart goes out to his family, especially knowing how tough it is to lose someone dear to illness, and then to face ambiguity surrounding his death. Did anyone find it strange that despite this link to gun violence memorials, there's been zero news coverage or statements from law enforcement regarding any investigation? It's concerning that there's such a discrepancy. Keeping Turner’s family in my thoughts as they navigate through such troubled waters.
Jerome Edwin Turner's death has always seemed a bit puzzling to me. I noticed his name on the National Gun Violence Memorial list for April 16, 2014, but so far, there haven't been any reports or investigations linking his passing to gun violence or any crime for that matter. Everything officially available about Jerome’s death points to his struggle with lung cancer. It’s been nearly a decade, and it must be incredibly tough for his family to reconcile this conflicting information. Does anyone have insights or theories about why his name might appear on such a list despite the circumstances of his death appearing unrelated to any violent crime? Would love to hear others' thoughts on this.
