Hey everyone, I’ve been following Patrick Shaw’s case for a while, and it’s so difficult to see a family waiting for answers for over eight years now. One thing that stands out to me is the lack of eyewitnesses. That area is usually busy, especially at that time of night. It’s baffling that no one seems to have seen anything. Could it be that potential witnesses are reluctant to come forward out of fear or maybe because they didn’t realize what they had seen was important? I know this neighborhood has gone through a lot and sometimes folks are scared to speak up. If you were around 5th Street, NW that night, even if you think what you saw is insignificant, it could be the key to solving this. If someone out there remembers anything, it's worth considering reaching out to the detectives. There’s a family out there who desperately needs closure. My thoughts go out to Patrick’s loved ones who have been dealing with this unimaginable loss.
