Does anyone else remember when the news broke about Darnell Mayfield's murder back in 2015? I still think about how close it was to New Year's and how that time is supposed to be about fresh starts and new beginnings. It's deeply unsettling that his case remains unsolved after all these years. I came across a post today that mentioned a reward for information. I just hope that someone with knowledge about what happened finally decides to come forward. It’s so vital for his family to get some sort of closure. Many of us can't imagine the pain his loved ones must feel, not having answers about such a senseless act. Does anyone know what the neighborhood was like around Hartford Street back then? Sometimes a community’s dynamics can shift over the years. Perhaps someone from the area could shed light on any changes or possible tensions from that period? Let's hope both justice and peace are on the horizon for Darnell's family.
