I've been thinking a lot about the surveillance in the area where Tsegaye Gebrehiwot was assaulted. It's so frustrating to know that there are probably cameras around that might've captured something useful. I wonder if there have been any efforts to review this footage thoroughly or if there might be some additional sources around the neighborhood that the police haven't tapped into yet. It would be amazing if someone with expertise in video enhancement could get involved to help! It must be incredibly difficult for Tsegaye’s family to have no clear answers after all this time. My thoughts are with them, and I hope that new leads come to light soon. If anyone in the area has any thoughts on potential overlooked CCTV spots or anything like that, even the smallest detail could make a huge difference.

I've been following Tsegaye Gebrehiwot's case, and one aspect that really stands out to me is the intersection where the attack occurred. 2nd Street NW is in a fairly residential area, and it's scary to think something so tragic happened there. This hits home for many of us who walk those quiet streets late in the evening, believing we're safe. I've been keeping an eye out for any community outreach or neighborhood meetings about safety improvements, but I haven't heard much. Does anyone know if there's been any movement on increasing security measures in that area? My heart truly goes out to Tsegaye's loved ones. Nobody should feel unsafe in their own neighborhood. Let's keep sharing any updates and support each other to help find whoever did this. Stay safe, everyone.
