I’ve been following Deron Leake’s case, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around the outcome. It’s troubling that even with surveillance footage and witness testimonies, Devonte Brothers was acquitted. I can't imagine how Deron's family and friends, the ones who were there with him, must feel seeing someone acquitted for his murder. There must have been so much pain and hope for justice during the trial. I'm also curious about the use of DEA camera footage. How reliable is this kind of surveillance in court, and how could it seemingly not make a difference? Wishing peace for Deron’s loved ones as they process all this.

I've been following Deron Leake's case, and I can't stop thinking about the surveillance footage from that DEA camera. It's chilling to think that it captured such a pivotal moment, yet it wasn't enough for a conviction. It makes me wonder about the limitations of video evidence in court. How clear does it have to be to sway a jury? I feel for Deron's loved ones; they must be grappling with the lack of justice despite the seemingly strong evidence. I hope this sparks some conversation about how our legal system utilizes technology in cases like this.
