Has anyone else been feeling haunted by this case? I keep thinking about the warning signs of domestic violence and how they were reportedly present before the tragedy. It’s just so upsetting to consider how Karen might have felt trapped or fearful. We always say it's important to recognize the signs and offer support, but it's just crushing to see how things turned out here. I wonder if there were resources or outreach efforts in their community that could have intervened before it was too late. My heart goes out to Karen and John's family and friends. From what I've read, Karen's friends and family were aware that she wanted to leave John due to his violent behavior. It's so crucial for anyone in a similar situation to reach out for help, even if it's just confiding in someone you trust.
