Hey everyone, I just wanted to share some thoughts about the area where Rene Espinoza Flores was killed. I’ve been reading through different threads and it struck me how the location—Vernon Avenue, near Rancho Drive and Washington Avenue—has a reputation for being quite busy and somewhat known for disputes. It makes me wonder if the chaotic nature of that intersection might have played a role in how the situation between Rene and the other person escalated so quickly. From what I’ve gathered, intense arguments can flare up all the time in crowded areas. Yet, what boggles my mind is that no one has come forward seeing or hearing anything that led up to the shooting. It breaks my heart that such violence occurred and someone lost their life, while the perpetrator remains out there somewhere. I truly hope that if anyone remembers being around there on February 20 and saw even the smallest detail, they come forward soon. Rene’s family deserves answers and some semblance of peace, and those responsible should be held accountable. We need to keep talking about this and not let it become just another unsolved tragedy.
