I've been following Otis Lee Turner's case, and one aspect that's really unsettling is how close to home this tragedy occurred for the locals. Being found on a street that's typically bustling, you'd think someone might have noticed something sooner. It breaks my heart thinking about Otis Lee Turner, a young life just ended so senselessly in such a public place. I can't imagine the trauma for his family and friends knowing the street he was found on might be one they pass by regularly. The collaborative work between the Las Vegas Metro and Nebraska authorities is commendable, but there's just something haunting about a murder happening in such an ordinary area. It makes you think about safety in places you call home. My thoughts remain with his loved ones as they navigate through this difficult time.
