Has anyone else noticed how unpredictable diving conditions around Anclote Key can be? I know a few local divers who avoid that area due to sudden current changes and poor visibility. I wonder if those conditions might have contributed to Edward Leon Brunt III's disappearance. It's tragic how quickly conditions can change underwater, especially for someone experienced like him. If anyone has more local knowledge about diving in that area or similar experiences, it might help piece some things together. Keeping Edward and his family in my thoughts as we hope for more information to surface.
Anyone else puzzled by the absence of any debris or equipment found during the search? It's strange that the Coast Guard scoured such a vast area and came up empty-handed. You’d think a tank, a flipper, or anything might have turned up, especially considering Brunt was such an experienced diver. Is it possible that currents swept everything farther than anticipated? Or maybe there's another explanation for why nothing was located? I know there's speculation, but the lack of any evidence adds an unusual twist to this mysterious case. Thoughts?
