I'm really struck by how the police managed to piece this case together. It’s incredible how a small detail like graffiti can lead to such significant breakthroughs. It makes me wonder if Edwin Medrano-Sanchez had any idea of how much evidence he was leaving behind. The fact that his phone data placed him at the scene is a testament to how technology plays a huge role in modern investigations. My thoughts are with Ricardo Ruiz’s family and friends as they continue to deal with the aftermath of this senseless act. I can't imagine the pain they’re going through. I hope justice is served swiftly and completely. The lingering questions about the second shooter must be so difficult for them too.
