Hello fellow sleuths,
I've been diving into Richard Pejskar's case, and one aspect I find particularly intriguing (and frankly, baffling) is the location itself, 1333 W Alameda Ave. It seems like it would have been a pretty busy area, even in the 70s. I wonder if anyone has more info on what the neighborhood was like back then? Were there businesses around, or was it more residential?
It just seems strange that a murder could happen in what I would assume was a populated area without any witnesses stepping forward with helpful information. Have any of you sleuths found old maps or directories that might shed some light on what was around there during that time?
My heart goes out to Richard’s family, living with such uncertainty for all these years must be incredibly painful. Hopefully, with advancements in technology and public awareness, we can help bring them some answers.
Stay kind, everyone, and keep sharing any tidbits you might find!
