Has anyone else looked into the Mother Mountain Loop in Mount Rainier National Park? I've been trying to understand the terrain Sam Dubal was navigating. From what I've read, this loop is known for its stunning scenery but also challenging conditions. It's a popular trail among experienced hikers, but considering the time of year Sam went, I wonder if unexpected weather played a larger role than initially thought. October can be pretty unpredictable in terms of weather, and that might have been what made things go awry. It’s just wild that someone as skilled as Sam could disappear without more concrete evidence of what happened. Anyone familiar with this area or similar cases where weather was a significant factor?

Has anyone else been following Sam Dubal's case? While the main focus has been on the search efforts and the grim conditions at Mount Rainier, one thing I'm curious about is the role technology played in the search. They reportedly used drones and helicopters to cover a lot of ground, which is impressive, but it makes me wonder about the limitations of such tech in those tough weather conditions. You’d think with all the advancements in search and rescue technology, we'd see more success stories. Yet, here we are with Sam, an experienced hiker, disappearing without any real trace. Knowing the wilderness can be unpredictable, I'm still hopeful there’s some improvement or breakthrough on the horizon that could make a real difference in cases like Sam's. Thoughts?
