Hey everyone, I've been digging into the Clarence Smith and James Austin case and something keeps bugging me about the location. The fact that their bodies were discovered in a secluded alley behind a vacant house seems deliberate. For those familiar with the area around Franklin and Humboldt Streets, was this alley known for any specific activity back in the early '90s? It seems like whoever did this wanted them found out of sight but still in a place where they'd eventually be discovered. Also, I can’t help but feel for their families who’ve gotten no answers after all these years. The lack of suspect details is baffling and must be incredibly frustrating for anyone who knew them. Does anyone remember any chatter about these guys in the community or perhaps have stories of their time spent around East Colfax and Yosemite? Every little detail might help jog someone’s memory.
