I was reading up on Robert Escobedo Jr.'s case and couldn't help but think about how tough this must be for his family and friends, especially with it being unsolved for so many years now. It's so frustrating that there aren't even any solid leads or suspect information out there. The Cold Case Unit seems dedicated, but I can't imagine the pain of not having answers. If you think back to 1997, the advancements in DNA technology must seem like a world apart from then. It gives me hope that something new could crack this case open, but it doesn't change the fact that his loved ones have had to endure such a long wait for justice. If anyone out there knows anything, however small, it could really make a difference. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy.
