Hi everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Mauricio B. Baires, and something that's been on my mind is the critical role that eyewitnesses play in these situations. In this case, we know that witnesses reported seeing two vehicles flee the scene after Baires was shot. I can't help but wonder if anyone who might have seen these vehicles from a different angle or who noticed anything unusual around that time has yet to come forward.
Eyewitness accounts can sometimes be the key to unlocking unsolved cases like this one. Even the smallest detail that's recalled can provide a crucial lead for investigators. It's so important for anyone who was in the area on that day in April 2003, or for anyone who might have heard something since, to reach out to the Aurora Police Department.
Baires deserved to have his life fully lived, and his family deserves the answers that have eluded them for so long. If you're out there and you have information, please come forward. Every little bit helps.
Sending my thoughts to Mauricio's loved ones as they continue to push for justice.

I really hope someone who knows something will come forward soon. If anyone’s got new information, please share. Hey everyone,
I've been reading through the threads about Mauricio B. Baires, and something that's really been on my mind is the location of the crime. The area between Newark and Nome Streets is busy, especially with East Colfax Avenue nearby. It's hard to believe that nobody saw or heard something more that night. There must be additional witnesses or even camera footage from local businesses that could provide more leads.
It's infuriating and so sad to think of this young man's life ending in such a tragic way, and it's been too long without answers for his family. If anyone lived or worked in that area around 2003, your memories or insights could prove invaluable. Let's keep sharing Mauricio's story to help bring justice to him and peace to his loved ones.
Take care and stay safe.
