I've been following the case of Isaiah Martinez and it's truly a sad situation all around. Something that really stands out to me is the role that mental health played in this tragedy. Treven Mills had a history of mental health issues, and it makes me wonder if this could have been prevented with better mental health care and support. I've been reading a lot about how individuals like Mills often fall through the cracks, receiving help only when it's almost too late. It's just so frustrating to see how many lives are affected because of an inadequate support system. I feel for Isaiah's family and friends; it must be unimaginably difficult to make sense of this loss, and I can only hope that this case brings more attention to the necessity for mental health reforms.
