Hello everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the kids who were caught up in this horrific event at the Canterbury Mobile Home Park. It must be incredibly difficult for them to process what happened, particularly since they were so close when it all unfolded. We hear so much about the victims and the suspect, but I can’t help but worry about these young ones who didn't just lose family members—they lost their sense of security. The way they acted, hiding and then trying to help afterwards, shows such resilience, yet it's sad they had to experience something like this at such a young age. I'm really hoping that they're receiving support from counselors or other professionals to help them cope with the trauma. Does anyone know if there have been efforts in the community to provide ongoing care or support groups for kids who go through such traumatic situations? Also, if anyone has advice or personal stories about helping children deal with trauma like this, please share. I think it's important we consider everyone affected in the aftermath of such tragedies. My heart goes out to all the families involved. They have a long road ahead, and any support they can get is crucial. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts.
