Hey everyone,
I've been digging into the mysterious death of Thomas Chelsey Bedford, Jr., from Nogal, NM, back in October 1979. While there's not a lot of information out there, one thing that struck me is how quickly discussions about a case can fade without media coverage or community conversation. It's tragic to think that someone could be lost in time like that, without the world really knowing what happened to them.

Has anyone looked into the local history or community talk from Nogal, NM around the late '70s? Sometimes smaller towns have stories or rumors that don't make it into the official records. This whole case around Thomas Chelsey Bedford, Jr.'s death is just so obscure, and it's like he vanished without a trace—or at least with no public trace we're aware of. I wonder if there's anyone who lived in Nogal at the time or who has family from there that might recall something? It just seems so odd that there's no mention anywhere. My heart goes out to any family or friends who might still be looking for answers. If anyone has an idea of where to dig up more info, I'm all ears. We can't let these stories fade completely.
