It’s been years since Keith Riley’s tragic passing, and my heart goes out to everyone who loved him, especially his kids. I’ve been thinking a lot about the location of the incident, Whites City. The name is a bit of a misnomer for a small place mostly known for its proximity to Carlsbad Caverns, attracting tourists rather than being a hub of violence. It makes me wonder about the events leading up to that day and why it happened there, of all places. Has anyone here dug into the area around the time when Keith was killed? Was there anything unusual in that locality that could hint at why someone would resort to such violence? Or if those who knew Keith remember anything from that period? Oftentimes, the location can be a telling aspect of a case, providing some insight. Thinking about this just reminds me of how important those small details can be. Staying hopeful that one day all those who were affected might find the answers they deserve.
