John Michael Simons, aged 61, went missing on July 25, 2014, from Craig, Colorado. He left a note stating he was heading to Trappers Lake for a camping trip and would return in several days. However, Simons never returned, and his truck was later discovered abandoned by a rancher in northern Routt County. Despite searches in the area, there has been no trace of him since his disappearance.
