Has anyone considered the role of Aiken's struggles with depression and seizures in the circumstances surrounding his disappearance? It seems like these health issues could have played a significant part in what happened. From the details that were shared, he left without taking essentials like his wallet or ID, which is really unusual. Could it be possible that he left in a state of disorientation due to a seizure or was experiencing a severe depressive episode? These conditions might have made him more vulnerable or put him in harm's way unexpectedly. I wonder if the investigators delved deeply into his medical history or focused primarily on the search angles without fully considering how these health struggles might have influenced his state of mind or actions on that day.
I was going through some old articles about Barry Maurice Aiken's case and something caught my eye. The fact that he left behind his wallet and ID seems really unusual, especially if he was actually thinking about heading to Atlanta. If he was planning on leaving town, wouldn’t he have taken those items with him? It makes me question whether he really intended to leave or if something else was going on. Maybe he was meeting someone he trusted and didn’t think he’d be gone long? It's been decades with no solid leads, and it baffles me how someone can just vanish with no trace like that. Anyone else have thoughts on what could have happened or any similar cases where someone left without taking any essentials?
