Barry Maurice Aiken, a 21-year-old African-American man, was last seen on February 24, 1993, in Wilmington, North Carolina. Standing at 6'3" and weighing around 190 pounds, Aiken had been living with his father at the time of his disappearance. On the day he went missing, he left behind his wallet, identification, and money, raising immediate concerns. His father reported that Aiken was struggling with depression and had a history of seizures, which further heightened the urgency of the search.
