I've been following Obed Cruz's case from the beginning, and something's been on my mind about the involvement of his online friends. It's so chilling to think that they were possibly the last people to have real-time interaction with him before everything went silent. How incredibly terrifying it must have been for them to realize something was wrong and then decide to go check on him at his home. I can't imagine the courage it must have taken to walk into that situation, not knowing what they’d find.
It makes you think about the bonds we form online and how real those connections are, doesn't it? I hope these friends have been getting the support they need; it couldn’t have been easy to be thrown into this tragedy. Does anyone know if they've spoken out or shared anything about that night? My heart goes out to them and Obed's family during this unimaginable time.

It’s been over six years, and the mystery behind Obed Cruz’s tragic death remains unresolved. My heart goes out to his mom, Liudmila Rodriguez, who’s been incredibly strong throughout all of this. I can't even begin to imagine the pain of losing an only child under such circumstances. I keep wondering what led to the mishandling of the gun that day. It seems so crucial to determine if it was really just a horrendously tragic accident or something more sinister. The lack of updates from APD is frustrating, but let’s keep faith that they’re working tirelessly behind the scenes. Sending all positive thoughts to his family and hoping they get the answers they desperately need. If anyone’s heard any recent developments, please keep the forum updated. We owe it to Liudmila to keep Obed’s story alive and to push for the truth.
Has anyone else been following the Obed Cruz case out of Albuquerque? I can't stop thinking about how he was just in the middle of a gaming session with his friends when everything went silent. It’s such a disturbing thought that his friends were the ones to find him after losing connection. I can't even imagine the shock and confusion they must have felt.
Does anyone have any insight into why there hasn’t been any arrest yet? It feels like ages since this tragedy happened, and I keep hoping for some closure for Obed's family, especially his mom, who must be going through so much.
