Hey everyone, this case of Tubaya Perez has really been on my mind lately. Something I can't shake is the betrayal angle. I mean, Tubaya was only 20 and trusted someone enough to get into a car with them. It's devastating to think that he might have been set up by people he knew—I can't imagine how his family must feel grappling with that notion. It’s terrifying to think about how quickly trust can be shattered, and in such a horrific way. Even though they caught Crawford and he’s been sentenced, it doesn’t bring Tubaya back, and that’s just so tragic. His family deserves justice, but they also deserve peace, and I hope they find it somehow. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on how betrayal impacts cases like this. Stay safe out there, everyone.
