Has anyone else been curious about the role of backgammon in the Blackfriars Massacre? It's such a strange detail that the victims were allegedly in the middle of a game when the attack occurred. I can't help but wonder if the game had any significance beyond just a casual activity. Could it have been a cover for something more illicit, like a signal or meeting point for the people involved in the drug trade? Or was it purely coincidental that these men, who were likely tangled in some dangerous dealings, happened to be playing a game when their lives were tragically cut short? I'm not implying it was a motive, but it just seems odd and maybe overlooked in this complex case. My thoughts go out to the families who’ve been seeking justice for over four decades now. It's unimaginable to live with the uncertainty surrounding such a violent, senseless loss. Hopefully, one day the truth behind that night will come to light, providing some measure of closure to those affected.

Hey everyone, I’ve been reading a lot about the Blackfriars Massacre lately, and one detail that keeps nagging at me is the involvement of Peter Meroth. From what I gather, Meroth didn’t have obvious ties to organized crime like some of the other victims. I can’t help but wonder if he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It’s incredibly sad to think about him and how his family had to deal with such a loss, especially when it seems like he might have just been caught up in something far bigger than he ever imagined. It makes the whole situation feel even more tragic and senseless. I hope that by keeping these discussions alive, maybe one day the families will get the justice they deserve. Does anyone have more insight on Meroth's life or any theories on why he might have been there?

I've been digging into the Blackfriars Massacre lately, and something that's been bugging me is the role of Jack Kelly in all this. It's disturbing to think that a former investigative reporter was among the victims. Given his background, Kelly might have had insights or information that could have threatened some pretty powerful people. I can't help but wonder if his past work or connections played a role in targeting him. It's just so unsettling that a guy who once asked hard-hitting questions ended up in such a tragic situation. My heart goes out to his loved ones who have gone decades without clarity or justice for what happened. Does anyone else think Kelly's history as a reporter could have made him a target, or am I reading too much into it?
