I’ve been following the Marcoux and Harnish case for a while, and I can’t help but feel for their families now that this break in the case has come. It's been 46 years, and it’s incredible to think about how a single fingerprint ended up being the key to all of this. What’s really sticking in my mind is the thought of how close Joley was to being caught all these years just based on that print. While the motive is still a mystery, I wonder if there were any other clues that might have pointed to Joley earlier in the investigation. This case really shows the dedication needed to solve such tragic events, and I hope this new development brings some measure of peace to everyone involved. Has anyone else wondered what led Joley to come forward after all these years? It’s kind of baffling to think about all the man had kept hidden for decades.
Hey everyone, I just wanted to chime in on the recent developments in the Marcoux and Harnish murder case. I'm struck by how many years it took to finally get a break in this tragic case, but I'm curious about the weapon that Joley allegedly owned. I read he had purchased a Colt handgun about a month before these horrific events. Was there ever any indication the gun used in the murders was a Colt? I can't imagine how these details must be affecting the families right now. Knowing Joley was both a licensed gun owner and had a fingerprint connected to the scene really makes me wonder what else might surface as this case goes to court. My heart goes out to the Marcoux and Harnish families; I hope they find some peace knowing progress is being made. Does anyone know if the investigation had previously considered the type of firearm used, or is this new info more of a recent discovery? It's details like these that make this case even more perplexing. Hoping for more answers soon.
